Heroes Min Ko Naing Political Prisoner Min Ko Naing means "Conqueror of Kings". Min Ko Naing has been imprisoned since 1989. He has been kept in isolation for most of his sentence, having only occasional visits from family members and one visit from a U.S. official. Kyi Moe Missing Activist The Burmese and Thai military tried to force Kyi Moe and others back to Burma during 1988. Here he is shown at the Thai-Burma border holding a sign in defiance, stating that he intended to go on to Tak. A few months after he was pictured here he was forced back and later turned up missing. To this day his whereabouts are unknown.
